Rough Cuts Filmmakers is all about building a community of film professionals. We have found the simplest and best way to do that is to let you show off your work. We want you to bring your films (finished or unfinished) to play in front of a group of your peers.

Our monthly screening are an Open Mic night for Filmmakers.

We will have a paper sheet in the back of the room for you to sign up if you want to show a film. We do our best to curate for a diversity of people and projects. We reserve half of the spots for minority filmmakers. That might be sex, race, class, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion. We don't always reach that goal but we aim for it. Diversity of projects means wont schedule eight music videos in a row.

We foster an ethos of collaboration with our newsletter and monthly events. For 10 years our open mic events in Philadelphia offer open critique of each others films (finished or in progress).

Hello Friends, I feels like it is time too watch some of your films! We are having our regularly schedule screening of movies. It's free and always fun to hang out with 60+ fellow filmmakers and ask questions or offer critiques on the films we watch together.
